Back to School this year is an easy transition for the girls. Eleri is a 2nd grader beginning her second year at Concordia – no longer the new student. She has Ms Johnson as a teacher. Ms Johnson is a co-teacher with Ms Shepard in the 1-2 community. Eleri did theme studies with Ms Johnson last year. She has about five children from her 1st grade class in her class this year. A bonus is she gets to see Ms Shepard for theme this year. Of course, Eleri came home all smiles the first day of school.

Emersyn has Ms Poppell for 6th grade. She had Ms Poppell for 1st grade when we first arrived in Shanghai. Emmy was more than thrilled to have Ms Poppell, again. She is a fabulous teacher. As a 6th grader, Emersyn will have half her studies with Ms Poppell and the other half with Mr. Stone. Another great teacher – he was the Concordia Idol Simon.

On the first day of school, the girls wanted to ride the bus to and from school. Emmy wanted to establish bus seat rights!!
