Emersyn, Bella and Hayden attended the Ed Sheeran concert on Saturday night. It was a busy day with National History Day, play practice, tennis lessons and the Gala. We managed to get home around 5pm to prepare for the the busy night. Eleri was staying home alone – with Roxi. Pizza and chicken wings were ordered from our favourite cafe across the street for dinner. Jim and I left for the Gala at 5:30pm. Emersyn left at 6:30pm for her show. Eleri and Roxi settled into craft making and TV!

The concert was at the Mercedes-Benz Arena which is down the road from our house. While I was at the Gala, my friend, Judy, text me that she was in the sea of Concordia kids & parents. She said Emersyn was to her right. A Concordia Mom offers tickets to us before they hit the open market. She has a connection with the arena, therefore, all the Concordia tickets are in the same general area. Judy sent me a video the next day and I laughed as Emersyn was not just to her right, but right next to her!

Emersyn said it was one of the best concerts she has attended. It was Ed and his guitar – no band. The tickets were very reasonable at 380rmb ($62) for lower bowl seats. The first level above the floor seats.

After the concerts, the girls came back to the house for a sleep-over. They were home around 10:30pm so Eleri wasn’t too lonely!
