Many Easter Sundays we are traveling since Spring Break is generally part of the Easter Holiday. This year, we stayed in Shanghai for Spring Break. The girls enjoyed a slow week and a break from their busy school schedules.

The Easter bunny delivered Easter buckets this year. When Jim goes to Hong Kong Sevens, his one job is to find some candy for Easter. Easter Candy in Shanghai is VERY expensive. I still paid too much for the chocolate bunnies!

The Easter bunny left red eggs around the apartment filled with candy and money. Eleri is always the first one to see them as she notices every detail.

For Easter Sunday, I organised a brunch at Mayita’s on their deck. We took a few family photos before brunch.

The brunch was moved to Maya’s due to rain. Mayita has a big deck over looking the City, but the inside space is small. We had the kids at one table and the adults at the other table…just like a family gathering! Our Shanghai family included the Jacobs (Rachael, Mike, Josh & Alyssa), Pratt (Bob, Sunny, Sara & Ellie), Brennan (Dan, Judy, Daniella & Erin), Davids (Steve, Dara, Hunter & Kennedy), Menosides (Mark, Pam, Grant & Anneka), Adams (Jacquie, Jason, Caden & Aubery) and Callis (Darel, Donna & Collin).

We stayed until 6pm chatting, laughing and enjoying margaritas or sangrias! A fun day spent with friends in Shanghai!
