Aunt Terri and Uncle Andy send the girls Halloween books every year. We have a nice selection of these books in our library. Eleri picked out two books for her “Papa & Popcorn” day at school. Jim read “Frankie Stein” and “Ms. Broomstick’s School for Witches”.

The PSO sponsored Concordia International School’s 2nd International Festival in the Middle School Gym. The Concordia Community has families representing over 34 countries. This year, 19 countries provided samples of regional foods, educational information and activities related to their cultures.

I needed a new wok. Faith and I went to visit the wok man. He hand pounds the steel to form the wok. The wok costs 100rmb ($15). I almost feel guilty paying so little for all his hard work. I bought two as our Chinese meals are more often with our ayi.

Jim’s birthday falls during the National Holiday. The girls helped me to make the chocolate birthday cake.
