This is the first year of no belief in Santa – the girls are truly growing up! But, “Santa” still delivered stockings and a gift. We arrived home from New Zealand to see what Santa left under the tree.
Both girls were so surprised by their gifts. Legos are double the cost here in Shanghai, but I packed Eleri’s gift back this summer – hiding it in my closet. Emersyn has been asking for a NICE suitcase for the last three years. She does more travel on her own with school and she takes the pink suitcase from when she was little…and hates it. One of Jim’s co-workers brought the suitcase over with him from the States. I mailed it directly to his house from Amazon. She had no idea!
Their stockings were filled with chocolate because it is a TRADITION, but the Christmas chocolates cost WAY too much here. It is one time a year, so I pay it! They both have a couple pair of earrings in their stockings. Eleri is still having problems with her ears so she isn’t wearing any earrings but her gold hoops, but someday she will be able to wear fun ones. The stocking has other small items like cords for their iproducts, luggage tags and fun pens (for Eleri).
The girls were all smiles with their Santa surprises!
