When we have an adventure Christmas, the girls like to open their Christmas presents before we leave town. With Jim gone all weekend for work, we found an open date on Wednesday to open presents. The presents were less this year, but still some fun holiday cheer.

Both girls were given a new Nutcrakcer in the very tall boxes. Emersyn loved her owl garden stool.

Emersyn wasn’t too thrilled with her box of Fiber One bars until she opened the box to find…

…her sweatshirt. I have no extra boxes around the house so I use what I can find!

Eleri is always my goof-ball – I hope she never changes!

Eleri has been wearing these reindeer antlers to school all week. One of the boys in her class broke the headband in half. Eleri came home from school to find another headband, cut off the antlers and attached them with her glue gun to the replacement headband! No boy was ruining her favorite Christmas headband!

For Christmas this year, the girls received Nutcrakers, t-shirts, jewerly, small bags for travel – mostly items I found at the christmas bazaar at Concordia. They also received some items from the copy market – a portable battery charger, iPhone cases and Eleri was given a set of Beats headsets…all cheaper from the copy market. They each were given some money to spend this summer – which Emersyn loved!
