It has been Book Week at school for the Elementary children. On Friday, the week finishes with a parade dressed as a favorite character from a book. Eleri and I went through a few costumes before she decided on “Pinkalicious.” I was hoping she would wear her dolphin costume for “Commotion in the Ocean”, but we all know Eleri wants to pick her own. No complaints as she wore the pink dress from Halloween which was the dress from the Daddy Daughter Dance…reuse-recycle! And she was pinkalicious!! She is funny as she likes to look just like the cover. She had her pink dress and boots out. But, the morning getting ready she needed to find the pink wings and have pigtails – just like the cover.
Emersyn is too old for the character parade, but Emersyn and Roxi posed with Pinkalicious.

The teachers always come as a theme. This year, the 1-2 grade teachers came as “Click, Clack, Moo Cows that type”. This is one of our favorite books, also.
The ES librarian had a fun costume this year. She came dressed as “Sunday Chutney”.

The children have fun with book week. It adds to the magic of books.
