Texas Cousin, Robert, was in Shanghai for a quick business trip. Robert and his boss, Vince, arrived on Tuesday for meetings. On Wednesday night, Jim took them out for spicy Chinese food and beers. Jim and Robert stayed out until 3am…on a work night!

On Thursday, we picked Robert and Vince up for a quick shop at the underground market. I took them to all my favorite places to do a little shopping for the women in their lives.

We had outside reservations on “M on the Bund”. However, the sky opened up to pour rain for about an hour. We were moved inside to a nice table, but not the same view. We still enjoyed a delicious dinner and a quick view of the bund from the patio.

Our meal time was cut short by work (the whole reason they were here)! An afternoon meeting was moved to drinks and karaoke for Robert and Vince. We dropped them off for their next “adventure” of Chinese karaoke entertainment. They were on an early flight back to America the next day.
