Today is labor day holiday in China. We decided to take a road trip to Shuzhou to see the gardens and enjoy the nice spring weather. We pack up the cars with two other families – the Humes (Mary, John, Kelly & Erin) and the Bishops (Faith, Dan, Avery & Riley). Scooters, blades and kites.

After a quick lunch over looking the lake, we headed off down the promenade…through the crowds of Chinese enjoying the day off. The kids had there photos taken by the paparazzi – we should have charged for it! But we have NO pictures because I accidently turned the camera on in the backpack…dead batteries. I only have a cell phone photo of Eleri flying a kite.
