Emersyn had drama this semester, which she loved. The 5th & 6th grade drama classes were presenting their drama showcase from 6pm – 7:30pm. This made for a rushed after school to get back to Jinqiao to see the show. The bags were packed and ready for another adventure as we were leaving for Egypt immediately following the show.

Emersyn’s drama teachers are Melinda Alford and Kelly Torgerson (home room teacher). Emersyn was in the play “A rumor Going Around”. As the title states, it is about how rumors grow as they are shared

We didn’t get any great photos of our little actor due to the lighting, but here are a few to see her in action.

Two songs were written and sung by the class, the opening song and closing song. When I asked Emmy how the class wrote the songs, she said their group had to come up with a song. Then, the class voted for the songs they liked best. Her group wrote the closing song.

You need to have trustworthiness to trust your friends.

To follow the golden rule means never be cruel.

Responsibility should go round and round.
Fairness is one of the six keys to happiness.
