Mimi had given the girls each a Martha Stewart craft kit of “Creepy Creature Decorations” for their birthdays – the night before we left America. It looked like a fun Halloween project so I threw them in the bags being packed for Shanghai. With Jim in the States for two weeks, I picked a slow Sunday to have some craft fun. I pulled the boxes out to read what we needed. Hum, the beautifully packaged Martha Stewart craft read…”pour glitter, sold separately, into a plastic bag (sold separately). Paint each creature with glittering glue, also sold separately, and put into the bag of glitter.” So, the craft came with the silly plastic spiders ONLY. I should have read the box before throwing them into the bags. I can’t run to Target to get the glue and glitter – SOLD SEPARATELY!! I did sort through my stash of crafts to find the needed items. The girls and I spent a fun Sunday afternoon gluing and glittering spiders.
