On a cold and rainy day, Eleri had her first field trip. She had a field trip planned last fall, but it was cancelled due to rain. Today, we were going to the National History Museum. The children have been studying dinosaurs.

The Museum is located by People Square in Puxi, near our house. However, I went out to school so I could ride the bus with Eleri. The museum had five large dinosaurs on display. The children had a fun sheet to fill out the facts we read about each dinosaur.

We were at the Museum for about an hour. This hour was enough since the museum was very cold inside. It was nice to get home for a nice hot cup of tea. I needed to warm up my fingers! My photos are a bit dark as the Museum was dark inside with flood lights on the displays…impossible to get a good photo. In the end, Elle had a fun time with her classmates.
