Friday night is movie night…family time, movie and popcorn. Tonight Emmy picked the movie, The Lion King. It was interesting watching The Lion King after our safari in Africa.

Things we noticed:
The lions are animated after African lions with mane that grows down around their upper legs. When lions hunt, they release testrastone, which creates the beautiful main.

The herd that caused the stampede in the gorge were Blue Widlebeests.

The warthog, Pumba, was a silly little animal as is his character. However, Pumba is missing the whiskers/hairs on the nose. Baraba had informed us the whisker/hairs are for protection. It gives the appearance of extra teeth to scare off predators.
