Our last night in the Maldives, Emersyn developed a terrible ear ache. We were able to get her drugs before we departed on Sunday at the resort and again in KL. Jim made an appointment for her at Parkway Health in Puxi for 4:30pm. With our delayed flights, we all went to the doctors since there was not enough time to drop Eleri and me off at home. Eleri and I sat in the car with Roxi for another hour waiting for them. It wouldn’t be so bad, but we have been doing a lot of sitting in the past 24 hours! Emersyn came out with her bag of drugs for an inner and an outer ear infection.

Finally, we arrived home around 6:00pm to OPEN presents. Eleri was the first one to our tree, of course!

Santa had left present while we were gone and the girls were excited to see their gifts.

Santa stockings and gifts are always first. Santa filled their stockings with socks and undies, as always. They had jewelry and other surprises in their stockings. Santa gave Eleri a big lego set – a Christmas village. Emersyn received a new G-Shock watch. They both received new books from Santa.

The big gift for the year for each girl was a jewelry cabinet. It arrived on Thursday before we left. The girls picked the same style with a different handle set.

Then, it was time to the open the small presents from us. Eleri was tearing paper so fast. It took me ALL day to wrap these presents and she had them open in no time.

Both girls received a garden stool to put in their rooms next to their chairs. The garden stool is a perfect side table for glasses.

Emersyn had a surprise gift of Phantom of the Opera tickets.

When the last gift was open, Eleri was ready to put her legos together. I cleared the Christmas decorations off the “suitcase table” for her to get to work. Santa gave her a lego set for 12 years and up. Next year, he will need to give her one for 15 years and up as she put it together too fast!
