As a surprise for a Christmas gift, Emersyn received a ticket to the Phantom of the Opera. She was completely surprised. The tickets to Phantom sold out immediately. I was able to get tickets during the Holiday break for the two of us. Our tickets were 780rmb ($128) per ticket. A processing fee for hand delivering the tickets to my door was 40rmb ($6). In the USA, there is a handling and processing fee for each ticket of around $15. This is charged to you even when you elect to print the tickets yourself!
We arrived early before the crowds to get a couple key photos.
Then, we found our seats in row 12. Our seats were to the side with an excellent view. The theater had very good seats since the theater is a newer design compared to the theaters in San Francisco. The seats were designed with a good steep incline, therefore, the person in front of you would not block your view. This is very different from the old theaters in San Francisco.
The performance was in English, a bonus, and very well done. When we got up to leave, I noticed the theater was 98% Chinese.
It was a nice afternoon spent with my lovely teen!
