Eleri is still at that age where she says cute things. However, her sayings are starting to disappear. For the longest time, a hamburger was a hamgaba. The whole family used to joke about going out for a “hamgaba”.

With the two girls, Emersyn, with more hair than most adults, usually wakes with a mess. She won’t let the bald man comb her hair…can’t say I blame her. When she has extra bad hair days, I will say to her, “did you have a party in your sleep again last night”. The conversation usual goes on joking about the party and not inviting me.

Today Elle woke with a bad hair day. For the first time, I asked her the questions, “Did you have a good party in your sleep last night”, “Did you have a party all by yourself without inviting me?” She very serious answered, “no, Stitchy and Pink were there”. Oh, of course. She sleeps with Stitch from our last trip to Disneyland Hong Kong and her little pink blanket. The pink blanket she has had since she was a baby. The Texas cousins, Mac and Pat, gave it to her as a gift. Pink has been repaired so many times by Aunt Nancy. The last repair required Aunt Nancy to give Pink a new silk cover.
