Eleri’s 3rd grade is study rocks and minerals. They have two field trips this week. One to the Shanghai Museum of Glass, which I attended. The second field trip was to the Mineral and Rock Museum. This was my first time to the Glass Museum, also.

Eleri spent the day with So Yeon and Josie.

We started the day off with a demonstration of watching the glassmaker hand blow the glass.

After the demonstration, we toured the museum.

It was a beautiful day in Shanghai. We enjoyed our pack lunches in the gardens before boarding the buses back to school. Field trips are always fun!
