For Christmas, Uncle Andy and Aunt Terri gave Eleri a rip stick. They gave Emersyn a rip stick for her 9th birthday. Emersyn spent a month riding the rip stick around the kitchen island. I wouldn’t let her take it outside as I had to pack the rip stick in the suitcase and I didn’t want dirty wheels. It was an excellent way to learn balance on the rip stick. Eleri pulled her rip stick out to begin her balancing practice. I have one rule when it comes to the rip stick, roller blades, skate board or anything that can cause you to fall back hard – a helmet!

After her bath on Sunday night, Eleri was riding around the table in her pj’s and robe.

Emersyn grabbed her rip stick to join in on the fun. She was also giving Eleri pointers on rip sticking.

Eleri is getting better and leaving the safety of the table. She will be ready for spring in Shanghai to hit the gardens of Yanlord with Emersyn.
