Eleri came home from school yesterday to tell me she had a lose tooth. She begins the wiggling of the tooth to quicken the outcome. At breakfast, she asks what she should do if her tooth falls out at school. I am thinking, it isn’t that loose. Sure enough, she loses the tooth while brushing her teeth.
It is funny as Eleri is willing to pull the tooth before it is ready. She wiggles and works the tooth out. Emersyn wouldn’t let us pull her tooth even when it was hanging by a thread.
Eleri had Lili over for a sleep over. They always sleep in the toy room on the blow up mattress. She found her note from the tooth fairy later in the day on Saturday.
The tooth fairy has lost count of how many teeth she has lost. Eleri seems to be on a goal of losing a tooth in many different places – from South Africa to Nebraska!
Dear Eleri,
My dearest Eleri, I was so happy to visit you tonight. That tooth came out fast as my wings just began to tingle, just a little. It is always exciting to lose another tooth.
I have enclosed a special gold coin and 20rmb for you to spend for losing your tooth.
I look forward to my next visit and letter when your next tooth falls out. I will wait until I feel that tingle in my wings.
Love the Tooth Fairy
