Today is Eleri’s performance day at school (Year 1 and 2 combined). While there are no special costumes, the kids need to where their “best dress” uniform. We have not used it much over the year, so I guess this is a way to have all the parents feel good about paying for it. […]

Eleri’s field trip to the Pudong Beach…I didn’t know there was a beach in Pudong. The trip is part of the studies for Humanities Unit on seaside holidays and habitats. I love going on field trips with my girls. Today’s trip was from 10-12, therefore, I decided to squeeze a haircut/highlight in at 1pm. […]

The forecast for the weekend was RAIN, RAIN and more RAIN. We woke to pouring rain on Saturday. I called my friend, Jennifer, to see if we could cancel. She said NO! I really did not want to spend the raining weekend camping. Elle said she wanted to go in the rain. At least […]

Lili is Elle’s best friend…they are two peas in a pod. Lili has been in the same class with Eleri for the past three years at Dulwich. Lili is the ONLY reason Elle wants to stay at Dulwich. In the past, we have asked Lili to spend the night, but she wasn’t ready. After […]

This is Emersyn’s 4th year in Girls Scouts. She started as a Brownie in grade 1 & 2. […]

Eleri’s Sports day began at 9:30am. It was a beautiful sunny, but not hot day for Sports Day. Eleri is in the Wing House, thus the blue PE kit. I really don’t understand the British “house” teams except they compete against each other. The children will stay in the same “house” all through school.

Eleri has outgrown her bike, but we know that it is best to master the two-wheels with a smaller bike. We learned this from our mistake with Emersyn. We had bought her a bigger bike before she learned how to ride two-wheels. The hardest part of learning to ride two-wheels is the start which […]

For St. Patrick’s Day, Eleri’s class had a fun celebration. Oscar in her class is from Ireland. His Mum brought in green cupcakes, stickers and stories to share with the class. Eleri came home that night to tell me she wanted to go to Ireland. When I asked want she wanted to see in […]
