A new-used bike for Eleri. We sold her old bike as she had outgrown it. Eleri was beyond thrilled to get Emersyn’s old bike. Emersyn has outgrown her bike, also. One afternoon, Grandma and I took Eleri out for ride around the complex. Eleri is fast on this bike. It is a bit big for her, but perfect for growing!

It reminded me it was this same time of the year four years ago when we bought the bikes. We purchased them on Jim’s birthday, October 7, at the Friendly Bike Shop in Hong Kong. At that time, it was hard to find foot-pedal brake bikes in Shanghai. Emersyn was 6 when she got the bike, also.

After four years, the bike looks the same with a few less streamers. The girls have changed!
