The 3rd grade girl scouts had their Mother Daughter event from 5pm to 9 pm. First we went to Karaoke…a favorite pastime for Chinese. I have never been to Karaoke in all the time we have lived in Asia!! We had two rooms booked for the girls to sing their hearts out…and they did. After Karaoke, we had dinner at a local restaurant, Malone’s. I took my co-leaders daughter, Kelly Humes, as my “other” daughter to the event as her Mom was in the USA. We went to the fabric market to have rock n’ roll jackets made…mother-daughter-other daughter style. I don’t have a great picture of us as Kelly’s Chinese ayi was taking the picture…I think that sums it up!!
