For Mother’s Day, our friends had organized a brunch. We had decided to pass on going to brunch since we had soccer. Based on our busy schedules, we are missing half the season. However, the weather decided we should enjoy time with our friends as it was raining. I called to add our family to the reservation. Just as we were leaving for brunch, we got a call that the dishwasher repair man was at our house…oh, we forgot. Jim stayed home to deal with the dishwasher while I took the girls to brunch. Mr. Nie would come back and get Jim after dropping us off.

Jim joined us about an hour later – dishwasher not fixed. We enjoy a long lunch with our friends, the Humes, the Jenkins and the Bishops.
