Eleri’s two bottom teeth have been lose for sometime. I was hoping to get some professional photos before her smile changed, but that didn’t happen. Time got away from me.
She lost her tooth on Schotia Safari in South Africa eating a prickly pear. She was so excited. We wrote a letter to the Tooth Fairy at lunch. We got a piece of paper from Mrs. Bean and a pink highlighter from George. He thought pink would be more fun! I wrote the letter as Eleri dictated to me. We knew it would be a late night when we finished the day of animal watching. It was after 10pm when we got home and Elle was sound asleep.
Eleri’s letter to the Tooth Fairy:
Dear Tooth Fairy,
I lost my 1st tooth! I am really excited for you to come.

The Tooth Fairy was all prepared to visit Eleri on the Safari. She had a beautiful letter with a gold $1 coin and two South African rand coins. The South African rand coins are worth 5r/$.65, each. The coin is gold in the middle and silver on the outside.
Letter from the Tooth Fairy:
Dear Eleri,
My dearest Eleri, I was so excited to visit you tonight – your very first tooth. The first tooth is always special. My wings have been tingling for sometime now. I was wondering if you were going to lose this tooth in Shanghai or in South Africa!
I have a very special coin for you. It is gold so you must save it. The special coin comes from America, just like you. The coin has the 10th President of the United States, John Tyler. I have also enclosed a little extra for you to spend.
I look forward to my next visit. I think it will be soon as my wings are still tingling.
Love,
the Tooth Fairy
All four girls were sharing a room on our safari adventure. The next morning, Emersyn read the note to Eleri while everyone listened. Everyone was so excited for Elle that it made it extra special. She lost her first tooth on an adventure in Africa!
