Aunt Nancy’s annual gingerbread house making event. Nancy bakes the gingerbread from scratch along with all kinds of good candies to decorate to make the perfect house.

This was Emmy’s fourth year of house making which makes her a pro!! She carefully placed the candies on the roof and sides of the house.

Eleri is still a novice as this is her second year.

She was decorating at a fast past until she realized she could eat the candy. Then, more candy went in her tummy than on the house.

Even with no teeth, Emmy enjoyed eating the candy as it is part of the tradition – one candy for the house and one for the tummy!

Nancy does all the hard work squeezing the frosting to create the perfect Gingerbread house.

The final masterpieces are ready to be displayed as center pieces for the table at Christmas Eve dinner at our house.
