The annual SEA (Shanghai Expats Association) Children’s Christmas Party is one of Eleri’s favorite events each year. It is Eleri’s kind of party with multiple craft tables for MAKING! The food served at the party is all kid friendly with chicken nuggets, fries and pasta. Champagne is served to the adult…chicken nuggets pairing with champagne! Emersyn has outgrown the party and was not planning attending the event this year, but there was a need for help…and she has a need for community service hours. She needs 25 service hours for NJHS.
Getting ready for the party was a dressing disaster. Emersyn doesn’t own any nice clothes and wearing a uniform every day gives me no reason to buy her any! She settled for a nicer looking pair of jeans. They both looked adorable!
I had a new sweater from Breckenridge summer sale of winter items!
The Christmas tree in the lobby of the Four Season Hotels is must photo every year.
Emersyn had to be at the event early for set-up. Eleri had fun being Eleri while we waited for the party to begin!
Emersyn and Hayden after setting up the table waiting for the rush of kids.
This year, we are sharing the fun with Linda and her girls, Ellie & Maddy, Lisa with Anna (and Hayden the helper) and Leah with her girls, Nathalie and Lana. Eleri, Ellie and Anna are all 4th graders at Concordia. They had fun running around together to the various craft tables. Eleri enjoyed the making, but she wasn’t as excited this year since the crafts were all the same.
After the party, we took a few more photos at the Christmas tree.
Then, it was home to build the ginger bread house…

The ginger bread house isn’t an Aunt Nancy house, but the girls had fun together. The next night a couple mice attacked the house!
