The Caribbean is one of the best diving areas in the world. With Nicole’s wedding, I thought it would be a great opportunity to dive in Cancun and Cozumel. Justin is also a diver, as is his friend, Shea. Our research led us to dive in Cozumel. We took the ferry across to Cozumel island where we were met by the dive company on the pier. It was a bit chaotic and had all the feel of a Chinese fire-drill as there were 15 divers on the boat. Finally, we were on the boat off to the Santa Rosa Wall (a 32 meter deep site) and Paradise Reef (a 15 meter deep site). Here are a few photos.

On Sunday after the wedding, I had the chance to dive the Playa Del Carmen side at Islote (a 30 meter deep dive) and Shangri La Reef (a 14 meter deep dive). Justin was off kite surfing. I went out with the dive shop at the resort – all 4 of us! Very nice to have a small group to dive with.
