A light snow began on Thursday, but not cold enough as the day was both rain and snow. On Friday later afternoon, it snowed! Mr. Nie had said if it snows on Chinese New Year, it is very lucky – so it must be a lucky year.

Eleri and Roxi went out on the deck as soon as a bit of snow began to accumulate on the deck. Emersyn was in her room reading – watching, but not enough to pull her away from her book.

However, when more snow had built up, Emersyn was ready to play with Eleri and Roxi

Eleri made a snowman with Jim just as we were coming in for dinner. We had our usually pizza dinner from LaCasbah. We ordered just in time as they were closing for the week. it was too dark to get a photo until the next day…with beautiful blue skies!

Eleri was very proud of her little snowman.
