Fall Carnival was moved to Spring Carnival for the first time this year. As a room Mom, Spring Carnival is easier to organize the volunteers needed for the day. This is an event for the ES children organized by the PSO (Parent Support Organization). Each room has the responsible for running a booth at the carnival. A committee of volunteers organizes this day for the children.
Eleri loves the “Donut on a String” game. She knows the trick to get under the donut to get the first bite. After the first bite is taken, the donut is given to the children to enjoy as their prize. This is the booth Eleri’s class parents are responsible to manage for the day. It is a fun and easy booth.
Eleri spent her time at carnival with her friend, Anna.
“The best waiter” game is always a fun one. The children fill their cup up with water. Then, they run through an obstacle course with their full cup of water. The child with the most water still in their cup is the winner. If they win, the child gets a small prize. Most games give the children a small piece of candy for playing.

After playing all the games, the girls had fun at the bouncy slide.

After Eleri finished her time at carnival, I went to work the class game, “donut on a string”. One of Eleri’s classmates Mom had the idea to have slushies delivered – love those quick thinking Moms with good ideas!
