Eleri’s school project – to build a Leprechaun trap. This is Eleri’s favorite kind of project as it had the word BUILD in it. Eleri’s favorite building partner is Jim, of course. They talked about the design and how Eleri wanted to build her trap. The trap was due at school on March 15, but Eleri’s trap was finished over the weekend. She spent Saturday designing, glueing and making it sparkle. She needed glitter because Leprechaun’s like shiny and glitter. She was so excited to take her Leprechaun trap to school to demonstrate how it works.

The surprise look when she catches a Leprechaun!

On Friday night, Eleri’s friend, Anna, spent the night. Eleri and Anna were busy making another Leprechaun trap all evening. They hot glued the boxes together, then, they cut, decorated and glittered their trap. The trap door was open in the morning, but no Leprechaun. The girls had hot glued the coins to the trap, therefore, the mischief Leprechaun couldn’t take them!

Saturday morning, Eleri made more traps in her quest to catch a Leprechaun on the last night. She had a little town of traps.

Eleri didn’t catch a Leprechaun this year…maybe next year!
